Paul Magliato was racing
snowmobiles on grass and ice since the early 1990's.
he had a huge sucess running both his own machines and
then driving for others. He started a team called Magnum
Motorsports which is a performance sled and atv shop
with a portable dyno and hop up kits including repairs.
In 1997 he set up a grass sled to run 1/4 mile on the
asphalt, he never looked back. Asphalt was the way to
go. After several track records for being the 1st sled
to go 8 seconds in a quarter mile, and best times of
8.75 seconds at 152 mph, He built his final sled the
Bullet (see attached pics) which was 320 hp with a 100
shot of NOS. After countless hrs testing and dyno tuning
the sled... and spending TONS of money, it was time
for a change. Asphalt racing was in his blood but costs
drove him out. He found the Thunder Quad in 2005 and
did not purchase it. Then in July of 2007 inquired about
it and found it in Erie PA. My good friend Kevin had
it hidden his garage and he purchased it. Kevin was
a great help in the purchase and Jerry the builder even
bigger.
Today we are looking to
promote the sport of drag racing. with the help of Seventeen
Motorsports, Scooterboy Racing, our website took flight.
We look forward to seeing all of you at our shows and
lets get together for all your fire events. When you
see Mag, ask him to see his tatoo from 13yrs ago and
tell me if you think this venture fits!!!
